Lucy is, despite how many would brand him, a very caring, friendly, and overall good person. Maybe a little too good. Despite being given the title of not just one sin, but two (pride and wrath), neither one presents itself in him as openly as they do within the other five. Instead, underneath his gentle demeanor lies a brewing mess of repressed negative feelings, which has also grown worse after the fall and then his subsequent imprisonment years later.

Although never acting maliciously, he can be stubborn and unwilling to change ideas or plans if he truly believes he's in the right. Because of his unhealthy ways of dealing with his negative emotions, when they become too much to handle, he doesn't just get upset, he gets uncontrollably upset and finds himself going into extreme versions of whatever he's feeling. He can't just cry, he sobs until it makes him sick. Amplified by his wrath aspect too, he can completely lose himself in a rage. These situations are incredibly rare in thanks to just how well accustomed he's become to pushing these feelings aside for, what he believes, the betterment of everyone else.

Because of how soon they were forced back into action after just barely getting a hold of themself from being put through literal hell for two thousand years and not having the time to work through everything that happened, their worst aspects are amplified greatly. They technically could ignore everything that's about to happen on Earth and to humanity to deal with their own issues, but, despite everything, Lucy's ready to throw themself straight back into danger for beings that view him as all evil.

After enduring around 2,000 years of isolation and semi-frequent torture sessions at the hands of Heaven's self-proclaimed voice and "avatar" of God, Raziel, who had orchestrated the events leading up to Lucy's capture right out of Hell, Lucy is abrubtly thrown back into reality.

Very confused, shaken and in a complete culture shock, Lucy has no time at all to settle down and learn about how much everything has changed since they were last walking freely, both in Hell and on Earth, before they're presented with the news that the end times are being ushered into motion very, very soon, delievered straight from the horseman of death.

Although being extremely unwell both physically and mentally, Lucy's love for humanity pushes them to try to stop the end from ever starting - somehow. Don't ask them how they're going to manage that at all.
