i'm PHIL and i LOVE demons and devils and hell and everything about demonology and that's why my site is red and edgy ... i am also a guy who draws and writes about demons too sometimes. i'm 21 and queer (ftm)

neocities

i started this website back in august 2025 because i was saddened over the rising trend in the internet getting aged restricted (with id verification etc) and also the general decaying state of the internet and social media. i grew up on the early internet but was born too late for something like geocities back in the late 90's and early 2000's (as in, i was barely able to read when geocities died) ... and had never really heard of geocities at all until very recently. i've dabbled before in "codeless website builders" like carrd and strawpage (yeesh.) but always felt super limited - and i thought neocities (which i had heard of briefly in passing in the conversation of "Free Website Thing!") was in the same boat as those until everything in july of 2025 came about with internet ID verification bills, where i started looking for social media alternatives

web design is .... not my passion lmao . i enjoy this briefly in the sense of carving out my own little palce but it's certainly something i'm not bouncing off the roof tops to do - though i'd say i'm still having fun regardless. my code is funky and janky but as long as it looks right to me it's fine (RIP to everyone else on a different browser or different sized screen than me!)

even though i'm not super crazy about web design and coding i'd still 100% without a doubt tell everyone i can "YOU HAVE TO MAKE A WEBSITE. I DON'T CARE WHERE YOU HOST IT OR HOW YOU DO IT. YOU HAVE TO MAKE ONE. THE MODERN INTERNET OF JUST THE SAME 5 SOCIAL MEDIAS YOU'RE EXPECTED TO BOUNCE BETWEEN IS EVIL. WE NEED PERSONAL WEBSITES AGAIN!!!"

like mentioned before... i'm PHIL and i draw things. i also try to do other things than just drawing but never stick to it (3D modeling, animation (2D + 3D), rpgmaker mv...writing. lmao). i like hoarding trinkets and books and things i have no space for on my desk - recently i've gotten into collecting figures.
